In early 2001, Robert Downey established Downey Property after nearly a decade at Gunne Estate Agents, where he sold in their Dun Laoghaire, Ballsbridge, and Lucan locations, gaining valuable experience and a solid base for starting his own company.
Focusing on Residential Sales, Residential Lettings, Property Management (excluding block management), and providing written Valuation Reports encompassing probate valuations, Fair Deal nursing home valuations, insurance valuations, family law valuations, and Bank of Ireland mortgage valuations. In addition to the work mentioned, there has been a notable rise in clients requesting Robert to act as their Buyers Agent, in which Robert inspects, offers advice, and applies his negotiation skills in acquiring a property for them. A significant portion of this revenue is generated by our international landlords seeking extra investments and clients preferring this service when acquiring a property in Dublin or Wicklow. Being a qualified Blue Book Valuer, our founder Robert is authorised to provide comprehensive written valuation reports for a diverse range of clients.
